These terms are the agreement between you and Prima Speak, operated by Octag AI LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Prima Speak", "we", "us"). By creating an account you accept them. Short version: be honest, be kind, and remember Prima is software.

The service

Prima Speak is a live AI speaking coach available on the web, as a Chrome extension and as an iPhone app, with Android to follow. The coach is built on Google's Gemini Live API. It listens, corrects and roleplays; it can be wrong. It is not a human teacher, not a translator for legal, medical or safety-critical situations, and not a substitute for professional advice.

Your account

You need to be at least sixteen to open an account, or a parent has to open it for you on a family plan. Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Minutes, plans and boosts

  • The free plan includes three minutes of live speaking a day. Pro includes twenty. Minutes count only while the microphone is open in a session, on any device, in any language, from one shared daily bank that refills at midnight in your time zone.
  • Boost packs add minutes on top of the daily bank. They do not expire while your account exists.
  • Pro is billed monthly or yearly and renews until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the dashboard or the app store you bought it in; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Vocab Vault, transcripts and text chat do not use minutes. Text chat is fifty messages a day on the free plan and unlimited on Pro.

Refunds

Purchases made in the App Store or Google Play follow the store's refund rules. For purchases on the web, write to hello@primaspeak.com within fourteen days of a first Pro payment and we refund it, no questions. Boost packs are refundable if none of the minutes were used. Nothing here limits the rights your local law gives you.

Acceptable use

Do not use Prima Speak to harass anyone, to generate content that is illegal where you are, or to try to extract the underlying prompts or models. Do not record or redistribute the coach's voice as a product of your own. We can suspend accounts that break these rules, with a refund of any unused paid period unless the breach is serious.

Your content

Your transcripts, reports and vault are yours. You give us the licence we need to store and show them to you and, in kids mode, to the parent. We may use anonymised, aggregated statistics (for example, average words per minute at B1) to improve the product; never your recordings.

Availability

We aim for the service to be available all the time and it will not be. Live sessions depend on Google's APIs and on your connection. When a session drops because of us, the minutes it used are returned to your bank.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Prima Speak is provided as is, and our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. If you live somewhere whose consumer law gives you rights these terms cannot take away, those rights still apply, and you can bring a claim where you live.
